Semaglutide

 Semaglutide a is a diabetic drug known as a GLP-1 receptor agonist, and is now approved for weight loss. It works by injecting weekly doses that can be titrated as prescribed weekly or monthly. This medication is by prescription only and medical clearance by a MD/DO/NP/PA is required. 

Tirzepatide

Tirzepatide is a synthetic derivative that combines the functionalities of gastric inhibitory polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). This unique combination enables Tirzepatide to effectively lower blood glucose levels, enhance insulin sensitivity, promote satiety, and facilitate weight loss. Initially developed to combat type 2 diabetes, Tirzepatide has demonstrated additional benefits in protecting the cardiovascular system and acting as a potent weight loss agent. It works by injecting weekly doses that can be titrated as prescribed weekly or monthly. This medication is by prescription only and medical clearance with the MD/DO/NP/PA is required.

When you start GLP-1 medications, you will review your goal weight with the MD/DO/NP/PA. Once you achieve your goal weight, a maintenance dose will be discussed to ensure you have made the proper LIFESTYLE changes to maintain your goal weight.

Yes. It is imperative to begin your LIFESTYLE changes such as; reduced portions, keep a daily journal of what you eat or drink, exercise at lease 30 minutes 3 times a week, increase protein, eat more vegetables and fruits, increase fiber and decrease alcohol consumption and high glucose drinks. 


The following disease processes or illnesses are preliminary contraindications, however, the NP/PA/DO will determine your candidacy:

  • Liver/Kidney issues
  • Insulin dependent diabetics/diabetics on multiple diabetic medications 
  • History of Thyroid Medullary Cancer
  • History of autoimmune diseases of the digestive system
  • Pregnant/Breastfeeding patients 
  • BMI < 27 (unless a comorbidity is present such as hypertension or diabetes)
  • Ulcerative Colitis, Chron's, Diverticulosis, undiagnosed GI issues or people under the care of a GI Specialist

The cost is $400/month. Once payment and onboarding information is established including medical clearance and labs you can expect the medication to be delivered to your home within 7-10 business days. We do not accept insurance at this time.

Yes. Not every person will experience side effects, but those who do can have a wide range of symptoms and severity depending on how your body reacts.

Possible side effects include:

  • Dizziness
  • Fatigue
  • Gastrointestinal issues, such as diarrhea, constipation and gasiness
  • Headaches
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Abdominal pain
  • Heartburn/Reflux
  • Abdominal distension (bloating)



Yes. We will need lab results within the last 6 months. If you have a copy or a mychart account with a CBC, CMP, Thyroid panel, lipid panel and A1C before we can provide medical clearance.  If you have labs from your provider or other source within the last 6 months we can use those.


Schedule a Telehealth or in-person appointment with one of our providers. We will go over your medical history, lab results and goals to make sure you are a good candidate for Semaglutide or Tirzepatide. Once you have been approved we will send your information to your compounding pharmacy and they will delivery it to you home. If you are uncomfortable or unable to give yourself injections, no problem. You can stop by one of our locations and 

our qualified staff can assist you.
